An important step in setting up a child’s profile is to add an invite contact so that the family and parents can start using KiddieBox with optimum access to their child and enable a good communication flow and check-in functionality within the KiddieBox app. This contact can either be the parents’, emergency contacts, or a doctor’s contact.

Contact Types And Access

The key contacts attached to the child’s profile are;

• Parent
• Emergency Contact

Each having different functions and access privileges. Which are

Parent

• Can see all updates on the daily feed
• Can access all the billing & payment information
• Can message the school,& receive messages in an inbox.
• Can edit child’s profiled information.

Emergency Contact

In case of an emergency, they will be contacted. The parent can also be an emergency contact or any other person stated by the parents. As an emergency contact, the access privileges and functions include.

• Has no access to the child’s profile within the app. This is simply a reference for contact information.
• This contact does not get an invitation to join KiddieBox upon being added.

How To Add A Child’s Contact

To add a child’s emergency contact on KiddieBox, follow the steps below;

• From the home screen
• Tap on the actions
• Click on the add emergency contact
• Fill in the details and select the relationship with the child
• Then hit the save button when you are done.

To add a child’s doctor’s contact on KiddieBox, follow the steps below;

• From the home screen
• Tap on the actions
• Click on the add doctor’s contact
• Fill in the details
• Then hit the save button when you are done.

Inviting A child’s Contact To KiddieBox

Parents will be excited to get updates on their children in real time, but first, we must get them set up their accounts. To do that, you have to invite them to the app via the email address used in setting up their child’s profile.
